School Open House and EOY Camp.
Short Video on the Camp,
In this year end camp, you did many fun activities like Hiking, Tug of War, Capture the Flag and of course the Campfire. I hope through this year end camp, you Scouts have learnt important Scouting values like brotherhood, teamwork and determination. Since this camp is planned more based on instilling brotherhood, I hope that through this camp you have bonded more closely with your fellow Scouting brothers and most importantly, you enjoying the camp. We expect to see the values you have learnt through this camp to be displayed in meetings and also in your day to day life too.
As it is the first time the Secondary 3s have organised a camp, do make sure to take some time out to thank your seniors who have tirelessly planned and carried out this enjoyable camp.

First ASEAN SeaboreeShort Testimony by Nicholas Chu,
I was really happy to be able to get a chance to attend this Seaboree that the school had sponsored, and it was not just any camp it was an international camp which means that I could socialise with scouts from overseas. The camp conditions were alright for me and most of the overseas scouts were really friendly. Through this camp, I made lots of new friends nationally and internationally. The camp was filled with fun water activities like scuba diving, dragon boating, and even sailing. They also had campfires and gang shows at night. But there was one problem and that was that things kept going missing but lucky for me none of my stuff was stolen. I learned some life skills, important lessons and values like the importance of teamwork during the camp. Overall I really enjoyed the Seaboree as I made lots of new friends, if there was another Seaboree I would sign up again and also recommend scouts to attend this type of activities organised for us

During this holiday, hopefully you have bonded further with your fellow brothers, and had a fruitful holiday balanced with revision, relaxation and of course fun.
This year, we should start afresh and strive for greater heights, both in Scouts and in Maris Stella.
Have a blessed 2020! See you soon...
Yours in Scouting,
Vernon Lim
