I promise to do my best,
To do my duty to god and to the republic of Singapore
To help other people, and
To keep the Scout Law
I promise to do my best,

The Scout Law
A Scout is to be trusted
A Scout is loyal
A Scout makes friends, establishes and maintains harmonious relations
A Scout is disciplined and considerate
A Scout has courage in all difficulties
Our Founder of the Scouting Movement is Lord (Robert) Baden Powell.
The Scout standards are the World Scout Badge, Scout Standard, Advance Scout Standard, First Class Scout and Chief Commissioner’s Award.
The patrols in Maris Stella Phantom Scout Troop are as follows: Kingfisher, Eagle, Dove, Owl, Swift, Woodpecker and Kestrel.
Scouts shake hands with each other using their left hand, as it is closest to their heart. It shows sincerity and is viewed as a token of friendship.
Activities Scouts participate in are Pioneering, Knotting, Footdrill, Backwoodsman (and cooking) and Campcraft.
Yours in Scouting,
SPL Yeow Keng
