22nd February Monday Scout's Founder's Day

Fall in: Outside Scout den
Time: 0630
Attire: FSU, PT Kit 2 for Sec 1s

Worldwide in nearly all Scout associations, Founders' Day is celebrated on 22 February, the birthday of Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of Scouting, and coincidentally also of his wife Olave Baden-Powell.

We will be commemorating the Scout's Founder's Day tomorrow in the Shaw hall. It is the only day every year where you get to wear your Scout attire for the entire day without changing to school uniform.

Let us show the entire school who we are, not just Scouts but Phantom Scouts. We will make sure we make those Marists regret not joining Scouts! See you all tomorrow!

TO BE THE BEST THAT WE CAN BE!

PHANTOMS!

Note: ALL Scouts are required to attend.

Scouts are not required to change the Toa Payoh district badge to the new Area badge

Scouts are to fall in at 0630 SHARP.

Scouts who have PE lessons are required to change back to the respective attire afterwards (FSU or PT Kit 2 for Sec 1s)

We will be wearing Unit's Scarf NOT National scarf

Reminder: All Scouts except the Sec 1 Scouts are required to wear their foot-drill boots.

Sec 1 Scouts will be wearing PT Kit 2 ( Unit T-shirt with PE shorts, black shoes with Scout's socks)

Make sure all the components of your FSU are properly don. ( Refer to the packing list for the investiture camp, it shows all the components where you use it as a checklist.

SCOUTS WHO ARE UNSURE,  HAVE THE INITIATIVE TO ASK AROUND.

Yours-in-Scouting,
Jin Wei
