Dear Scouts & Tenderfoots,
A very big thank you to those who gave positive feedbacks to the way the Unit Meeting was conducted. Your encouragements are a strong testimony that (one of) our Unit's goal of raising appreciative and inspiring Scouts is taking effect.
In addition, I would like to take this opportunity to applaud the Sec 3 Scouts who stepped up to the role of instructors today and guided the Sec 1 Tenderfoots in learning Footdrill. The cooperation displayed among you guys was impressive. I'm sure your skill in providing guidance in service to our juniors will grow as we work together in strengthening our Scout Unit.
Lastly, I would like to give special mention to Ryan, Javier, and Yew Wen (I'm not quite sure if I got your name correctly. If I didn't, I apologize. It's no easy task to remember so many names and faces but I'll put in more effort in trying to remember each of your names!). These three tenderfoots are amazing. They took the footdrill training very seriously! They, being able to stand perfectly still with the appropriate posture, their sight straight to the front, undisturbed by the movement and sound around them even after training, have evidently put in a lot of hard work during the training to have learnt and improved so much in one session!
With all of us working so hard together, I'm sure we will be able to strengthen the Scout Unit to be the best that it can be.
PHANTOMS!
Yours-in-Scouting,
Mr. Eric Soong
