Activities: Rehearsal for Founder's Day including dry run of procedure and ceremony

All scouts to be clear of what to do during Founder's day (Tuesday), if not please clear your doubts tomorrow by asking any of your Seniors or Ventures. Also please read and remember the National Anthem, the Pledge, School Song, Scout Promise, and Scout Law.

For Founder's Day itself, you will NOT be changing back to your school uniform.For sec 2s/3s/4s, please also make sure you sew your badges and keep your uniform in best condition. Also make changes to ALL MISTAKES told to you during uniform inspection by your PLs.

Please be warned that the consent form is strictly necessary for any camp/hike/scout event. It is the responsibility of the scout unit to ensure that your parent/guardian allows you to attend the camp. You will be sent home and will not be allowed to go for the camp if you do not submit your consent form by latest Friday, on the day itself.

There will be compulsory Investiture camp briefing after meeting for all sec 3/4s.

Notes on Investiture
1. Please have your lunch during recess if your lesson end at 1.50pm on Friday as fall in is at 2.00pm. No extra time will be given for lunch as the bus do not wait for anyone.
3. Do not bring your Macbook on Friday (Permission for scout camp), and minimize on bringing school stuff.
4. Bring ONE HAVERSACK, pack your school stuff into that bag. Do not bring luggage, trolley bags, etc.
5. Rest well & drink plenty of water before the actual day.
6. Make sure your uniform is properly ironed and the badges are sewed at the correct place.
7. We will be briefed more about it on Wednesday meeting.

On 11 Feb 2011, Friday, we have given out the consent forms to the scouts who were presented on that day.
For those scouts who did not turn up for meeting due to whatever reasons (medical certificate), you may download the soft copy of the consent form below.
Print & submit your consent forms to your respective Patrol Leaders by 14 Feb 2011, Monday.

To: Scouts re-doing reports

-Full report with ONLY 4 consecutive Checkpoints excluding starting checkpoint

-Full report with ALL Checkpoints included
Reason for a complete report is that when attending CCA hike, HQ would require to view FCS Report, hence a proper FCS Report is required. And we hope to push as many of you for CCA in 2012. It's possible.

Deadline for ALL report submissions: 1st April 2011 (Don't play any tricks)

Please organise your time well, March Holidays is from the 12 to 20, after which you have only 11 days before deadline, you are given sufficient time to complete both Job Week and Hike Report. Ensure you submit ON time.

After serious considerations, it's been decided that for those who did not do their hike reports will be given a final opportunity. They are to submit their hike reports together with FCS Hike Candidates who are re-doing their report on the 1st of April 2011. However, there will not be any "re-do" opportunities following the submission on 1st April. Results following 1st April will be final.

In addition, individual Standard Progress will be taken into consideration for the selection of the next PLC.

Build the flagpole at the primary school field before the start of meeting.

Be reminded that tenderfoots are to bring at least $70 for the purchaser of scout uniform and will be dismissed latest by 7.00pm from the Scouts HQ (Bishan MRT).

Deadline for registration is the 6th Feb 2011 @ 1800 hours. (6.00 PM)

NO CONCESSIONS will be made for late registrations.
