29th July Wednesday Scout meeting

Attire: PT Kit 1, PT Kit 2 for sec 1s, founder's day participants wear half uniform

Scouts who went for the 2D1N hike in june and have not returned the items they took from the first aid kit, are required to return the items they took by this meeting. Please remember to bring the appropriate attire. For those who have not submitted the donation draw tickets, deadline for submission is during THIS MEETING.


I would like to see all scouts put in maximum effort during training, as there will be tests for your respective components soon.

Finally, i would like to congratulate and thank the cooking competition participants for doing our unit proud as two teams managed to clinch the champion position during the south area cooking competition that was held on the 25th of july.

Sec 2s are to build the flagpole by 1410. All scouts are to assist in the building of the flagpole. Scouts ,who went for the hike on the 25th and 26th june , and have taken items from the first aid kit, please return them by tomorrow.

Scouts who have not payed for their footdrill boots are reminded to bring along the money to pay for them. I hope that all of you will make the effort to bring along the proper attire, and give it your 100% during training. Cooking competition participants are still required to fall in for attendance taking and announcements at the start of the meeting.

Collection of donation draw tickets

Dear scouts,
We will be collecting the donation draw tickets this week.

Sec 1s - please pass your donation draw tickets along with the cash to Mdm Maureen Tan BEFORE Wednesday, 22nd July.

Sec 2s - please pass your donation draw tickets along with the cash to Mr Kelvin Ng, on Thursday, 23rd July. Meet him at the mathematics department staff room during recess.

Sec 3s - please bring along your donation draw tickets along with the cash on Wednesday, 22nd July, Mdm Lim will be collecting the tickets.

Sec 4s - please pass your donation draw tickets along with the cash to Mr Low Tung Mun BEFORE Wednesday, 22nd July.

10th July Friday Scout Meeting Passing Out Parade

Tomorrow is a very IMPORTANT meeting as it involves many of our Sec 4s Scouts passing out. This is a very solemn ceremony and is to be taken very seriously.

All uniform are to be in their tip-top condition with NO mistakes. Attendance have been deproving over the recent meetings and I sincerely hope that it will not worsen. FULL attendance is expected tomorrow.

This is your last chance to bond and interact with the Sec 4s, so I hope that each and every one of you will treasure this opportunity. LET US GIVE THEM A POP THAT THEY WILL NEVER FORGET!!!

Reminder: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FULL SCOUT UNIFORM, INCLUDING FOOT-DRILL BOOTS.

Note: Those who ordered their foot-drill boots are to come to the Scout Den to collect them at 1400 sharp. Please bring along $26 to pay for the cost.

After Maris Youth Day last Friday, I hope that you all had enough rest over the weekend. Last meeting, all the Sec 1s were in proper uniform with no uniform mistakes, keep it up Sec 1s! I hope to see no uniform mistakes this coming meeting.

As you guys might wondering, POP stands for "Passing Out Parade" where the Sec 4s officialy "Graduate" and step down. The parade sequence will be briefed tomorrow.

Reminder:Scouts who went for the ASS/FCS Hike are to return all the items which they borrowed. This includes; First aid kit, First aid items, Rope, Tent, Gadget pole, etc. The items will be collected during meeting.

Note: ALL SCOUTS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE A PAIR OF FOOTDRILL BOOTS AS IT WILL BE NEEDED FOR POP ON 10TH JULY. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PL IF YOU ARE UNSURE FOR THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS.
