30th - 31st October Archery Course

Time : 2.30 pm - 5.30 pm
Attire: PT Kit 2 (1st Day) & House T-Shirt + Pe Pants (2nd Day)

Fall in: Potong Pasir Station at 2.00p.m.

Please do not be late and please be in the appropriate attire for each day. For the 2nd day please wear your school socks and white shoes, while on the 1st day wear your scout socks and black shoes.

Contact your respective Patrol Leaders (Patrol 6 please contact Jing Da) on whether you have submitted the forms. PLs, please refer to the shared document on the list of Scouts attending the course. Highlighted in RED is those who have already submitted. Late submissions for Archery and Night Cycling are to be submitted on the day of the Archery Course itself. Failure to do so will mean that that Scout will have to turn back and is not allowed to attend.

23rd October Wednesday Scout Meeting

Time : 2.20 pm - 4.30 pm
Attire: PT Kit 1

Fall in: Outside Scout Den

Meeting Schedule:  

2.20pm - 2.40pm : Administrative

2.30pm - 4.30pm: Sec 2s: Passing of Scout Standards
                           Sec 3s: Clearing of Den

Please note that the Sec 1 Scouts are not required to attend this meeting. Please fall in on time at 2.20p.m. and fall in in the appropriate attire. Also note that the forms for Archery and Night Cycling are due tomorrow and Scouts who have signed up but have not returned the forms by tomorrow will be deemed as no longer interested.

Windsurfing Course

Requirements : 

Be able to swim at least 50m in open water.

Dates : 16, 19, 21, 23, 26, 28, 30 November and 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 December. 

Time : 10.00am - 2.00pm

Venue : SSA @ NSC ( National Sailing Centre)

Estimated Cost : $150 (50% subsidy from the Unit)

No. of Participants : 8

This course is a 12-lesson course. You are to attend all of the lessons if you signed up for this event.

South Area Camp

Date : 16-19 November

Venue : Seriumbun Camp

Estimated Cost : $50 ( It will be fully subsidised by the unit.)

18th October Friday Scout Meeting

Since this meeting is right after the end-of-year examinations, I expect the discipline of the unit to be high. People with improper attire will face proper punishment. People encourage your fellow scouts to attend meeting as the attendance of the unit has not been very good.

'O' Levels(2013)

Dear fellow scout,

As you know the secondary four seniors are going to take their 'o' levels in exactly 2 weeks from today. So, we as scouting brothers recognize the effort put in by the sec fours in honing our  skills this few years. So, I strongly urge each one of you to take the extra step by encouraging them and motivating them during this tough period of time. You can do this simply by saying a word of compliment when you see any of the sec 4 scouts past by. Lastly, we want to say the greatest of thanks to the sec 4s for grooming us and we wish you all the best for your O's!! JIA YOU!!
