Failure to do so without a valid reason, will disqualify the candidate. So please do spread this reminder

1 Dec Unit Outing

This unit outing is optional but you are encourage to go so you can better bond with your scout brothers. We will do activities like kite flying and badminton together. We will be going to ECP for these activities. Hope to see you there!

ASS/FCS Hike 2012

There will be a Hike held tentatively from 11th - 12th Dec. However, those interested, please keep the 10th and 13th Dec free.
You can register by filling up this Google Form here:
The deadline to fill up the form will be on the 26 Nov, Monday. If you cannot make the deadline, please contact SPL Ho Jia Le. Ask your respective Patrol Leader for my contact number.
Also, the hike briefing will be held on the 5th of Dec. Those Scouts interested, please record down in a small slip of paper the dates in December of which you are free, and bring it on this Wednesday meeting.


Scouts are strongly encouraged to go, as it will push you to your limits and like the unit motto:

1115-1215: PT and Games
1215-1230: Dismissal

1) The discipline of the unit is dropping. You may have heard this countless times, and may even feel annoyed about it. I hope that you guys will take some time now while reading this post to reflect on your conduct DURING meeting time. (We do not mind much about your conduct outside meeting hours, but we still do mind). It will be futile to just keep giving you guys punishment which you will not learn much from. We do not want to punish you to make you scared about punishment and therefore watch your discipline, but, rather, to let you reflect on whether you mantained the discipline we expect from you. Recall your 4th Scout law.

2) The Malaysia trip will be cancelled due to insufficient amount of time to plan but there would definitely be one next year (as promised by Mr Low). There would also be some Jamborees next year which details will be given when the date is nearer.

I hope to see and improvement in the last and final meeting on Wednesday, and have a good rest till we meet again. Thank you.

Holiday Scout Meetings

There will be no meetings for the coming week.
However meetings wil resume for the following dates: 21st, 23rd, 28th and 30th of November.
Timings are tentative but will be most likely from 1000 to 1230hrs plus minus.
Please keep those days free.

- De:Xufto XVII: Torex 19th to 22th Dec

There might be a ASS/FCS hike organised in December too.
