Registration for PLC 2012-2013 for interested Secondary 3s is now open.

Deadline is this Thursday, 2 February 2012, @ 2100 hrs (9:00pm)

NO CONCESSIONS will be made for late registrations.

Secondary 3s Scouts who have sign up and expressed interest to be part of PLC 2012/2013 are to fall in outside the Scout Den at 1330 hrs (1:30 pm) in their PT Kit 2.

Consent form collection for Adiji Chief Scout event

For Scouts who have yet to submit your consent form on last Friday, please submit the consent form for the Adiji Chief Scout event to the Scout Den on Monday, 31st January 2012.

The Den is open for the collection of consent forms from 0705 hrs t0 0725 hrs.

No forms will be accepted after 0725 hrs.

Failure to submit the consent form means you are not allowed to attend the event.
More information about the event will be posted on the blog closer to the event day.

Attire: Full Scout Uniform with Beret and Footdrill boots
(Tenderfoots to come in PE Attire)

Fall in: Primary School Field (for sec 2-4s)
Scout Den (for Tenderfoots)
Duty Patrol: Eagle Patrol and Dove Patrol

Activities:

1415-1430: Admin

1430-1500 : Ceremony
1500-1700 : Footdrill Course

1700-1730: Ceremony
1730-1750: Pack Up

1800: Dismissal

Duty Patrols are to have the flagpole up and ready for ceremony by 1415 hr at the Primary School Field.
For Tenderfoots, you can look up for the Scout Law and Scout Promise at the "About" Section of the blog.
To All Scouts, remember to have the consent form signed by this FRIDAY. Failure to do so, you will not be allowed to go for this event. Scouts who have yet to receive the consent form, do look for me during your respective recesses.

Apologies for the late posting of the meeting schedule. Secondary 4 scouts are still expected to come attend the meeting after the 'Lao yu sheng' at the canteen.

Please also note that attendance would still be taken for those who comes for meeting not properly attired, it was my mistake in saying that attendance would not be taken for scouts if he do not come in proper attire, BUT please note that scouts are still to come in proper attire as it would not look good on the unit when there are a few scouts who dress differently from the others. It shows that the unit is not united.

I hope to see all of you in the correct attire for all other scouts meeting and not having excuses not to come because you have forgotten to bring the correct attire.

Time: 1420-1740

Fall in: Scout Den

Attire: FULL SCOUT UNIFORM with BERET (those who have footdrill boots bring along)

Activities:

1420-1430: Admin

1430-1710: Footdrill Course (for ALL)

1710-1730: Bumper time

1730-1740: Dismissal

The footdrill course is compulsory for all to attend. (no longer just the interested ones). This is so as to ensure the unit footdrill is up to standard in preparations for the coming Founder's Day and to pass your components. However not all those who attend the footdrill course will be allowed to take the test. Only interested and potential Scouts will be given the chance to take the test. Any Scout who skip a single session of the Footdrill Course without valid reason, will be deem as lost of interest and is not allowed to take the test. Attendance will be taken as usual.
This footdrill course (unlike normal footdrill patrol activity) will be conducted in a different manner, and will be focusing a lot on ASS (mobile) drills. Do read up on your training manual for all the commands (including SS which serves as your foundation).
Also, all Scouts are to get your Footdrill Boots by the end of Chinese New Year. They can be purchased at the army market. Look for your Pl/APL/Sec 4s for help on the purchase of the footdrill boots.

Lastly, the Secondary 1s (tenderfoots) will most likely be attending this coming Wednesday meeting. Do welcome them whole-heartedly and leave a good impression on them in their first Scout Meeting.

For Thursday and Saturday, we will be working with the sec 1s watching us. Do bring your discipline to the highest level and work fast so as to leave a good impression of Scouts on the Sec 1s. Time will be very rush so do move as fast as possible.
